Riley Larson, Intern

Therapy works best as a partnership. My approach is collaborative, strengths-based, and practical, creating a supportive space where you are empowered to pursue the life you want. Drawing on eight years of living and teaching in East Asia and East Africa, I value the diverse ways we heal. I am deeply curious about how our personal narratives shape our world and strive to create an affirming environment where you can show up as your authentic self. I am honored to help you navigate life’s transitions.

Therapy shouldn’t feel one-sided. It works best as a real partnership. We team up to carve out a spot where you actually feel heard, using practical steps to chase the life you want. You are already resilient. People usually are, way more than they give themselves credit for. We simply take those existing strengths and build on them.

I spent eight years living and teaching across East Asia and East Africa. That time completely shifted my perspective. It showed me firsthand how differently folks find meaning in their daily lives, proving there is absolutely no single correct way to heal or grow. We all face hurdles differently. I’m fascinated by our internal narratives. Those stories shape everything. They color how we view our relationships, the world, and our own reflections.

Everyone is welcome here. I want to build a warm, affirming room where you can just show up exactly as you are. I love working with LGBTQ+ folks, military members and their families, and anyone wrestling with who they are or where they belong. Things change. Sometimes you just feel completely stuck. Whatever brings you through the door, I’d be incredibly honored to sit with you and figure it out.
