The Group Facilitator
Lisa (LEE-SUH) Kjeseth (she/her) is the Director of Special Programs for TheraPride and a therapist of more than 15 years. Her expertise in Burn Out Resiliency and Secondary Trauma are a passion stemming from her own experience early in her career where she was faced with “how can I do this work in a healthy sustainable way?” or “I must leave the field I love.” Lisa decided to stay in the field and research and learn all she could about secondary trauma and burn out. She embeds this passion as she runs our internship program. She also uses what she has learned to work with those that experience what she calls occupational trauma; those that are called to a field where they are more exposed to trauma than other fields (healthcare, military, first responders, LEOs etc).
