SURYNA 1: A Journey in Four Blog Posts

Before breath, there was awareness—and before purpose, there was love. Suryna awakens to discover that she was not an accident or an unfinished creation, but intentionally formed to carry both strength and tenderness, masculine and feminine, as a living bridge between what has been divided. In the presence of the Creator, she begins to understand that her deepest purpose is not simply to serve, but to embody harmony, reminding a fractured creation that difference does not have to mean division.

Blog Post 1: Before Time — Awareness, Longing, and Design

Before Breath

Awareness did not arrive like waking from sleep. It came as a thinning — a tremor behind silence — like the first trickle of water pressing through a dam that had never meant to hold it. The trickle became a stream. The stream deepened into a river. The river surrendered to a torrent. Whether this unfolded over moments or ages did not matter. In eternity, duration dissolves. There is no hurry and
no delay — only unfolding.

My first conscious thought was my name. Suryna. It did not sound spoken. It resonated — as if the syllables were woven into the fabric of my being long before I recognized them. Laughing princess.
The name felt ancient and entirely new at once. I did not know where it came from, yet it fit as skin
fits bone.

As my name settled into me, awareness widened. There was brightness. Not light cast from a distant
source, but radiance that surrounded me, entered me, lived within me. It pierced without wounding.
It enveloped without constraining. It illuminated without blinding. I was not afraid. There was no
reason to be. Later, I would learn a word for this radiance. Love.

The Longing

As awareness widened, something else awakened with it. A pull. Not outward, but inward — like
gravity beneath my own being. It was not emptiness, yet it felt like hunger. Not loneliness, yet
something in me reached. The longing was not painful. It was directional. I did not know what I was
reaching toward, only that I was not complete without it.

The radiance intensified — not brighter, but nearer. As though it had always been here and I was
only now turning toward it. Then came a thought that was not entirely my own. You feel Me. The
words did not enter from outside. They unfolded from within the center of my being — gentle,
patient, certain. I did not startle.

“Are You the One I am longing for?” I asked — though I had not yet learned how to speak. The
question formed as intention, and it was heard. A warmth moved through me, like laughter without sound. I am the One who formed your longing so that you would know how to find Me. The
answer did not overwhelm. It clarified.

“You made me?” I asked. Yes. There was no hesitation. I desired you before you were aware of
yourself. You are not an accident of light. You are an expression of My joy. Something within me
expanded at that — not pride, but recognition.

“Why am I… this way?” I asked, becoming newly aware of my own texture. I was not divided, yet I
carried currents within me. Strength and tenderness. Initiating and receiving. Fire and water. They
did not compete — they braided. There was a pause, and in that pause I sensed delight.

You are unique among much of My creation, the Creator said. Many are formed as one expression
— masculine or feminine — each reflecting a facet of My nature. But you… The warmth deepened.
You were formed to carry both currents within you. A fuller echo. A bridge. You will move between
strengths. You will understand what others cannot easily see.

The truth of it resonated through me. The feminine felt closer to the surface — softer, more
immediate — yet beneath it ran a quiet strength that did not disappear. “Am I unfinished?” I asked.
No, the Creator replied. You are intentional. The longing in me shifted then. It was no longer
reaching blindly. It was leaning into relationship.

“Why was I made?” I asked, and this time there was eagerness in the question. The radiance did not
answer immediately. It wrapped around me — patient, almost playful. You were made from love,
the Creator said, and for love. A pause. But you were also made to serve — not from obligation, but
from overflow. You will move through My creation — not only on the small world you will one day
enter, but beyond it. You will carry My presence where it is forgotten. You will remind what has
dimmed. You will stand between what is divided.

The word enter lingered. “One day enter?” The warmth softened. Yes. And for the first time,
something like distance flickered at the edge of my awareness.

The Deepening

The word enter lingered within me long after the radiance softened. But the Creator did not move
me onward. There was no urgency. Instead, there was nearness. I remained in the brightness — not

idle, but attentive. Awareness continued to expand, not outward this time, but inward. I began to
notice subtleties in the Creator I had not yet perceived. The radiance was not uniform. It carried
textures. Strength that did not dominate. Tenderness that did not yield weakness. Authority braided
with gentleness. Power infused with restraint.

“You contain more than I can comprehend,” I said softly. A warmth rippled through me — almost
amusement. And yet you reflect Me. I grew still at that. “I reflect You because I carry both
currents?” Yes. But not only that. The light around me deepened in tone — as though layers were
being revealed.

Many beings express facets of My nature. Some carry decisive clarity — the current that initiates,
builds, defends. Others carry receptive wisdom — the current that nurtures, gathers, and perceives
what lies beneath. I felt those currents again within myself. They did not war. They did not compete.
They conversed.

But in you, the Creator continued, those currents were not separated. They were braided. This was
not accident. It was intention. “Why?” I asked. The question was no longer curiosity alone. It was
desire to understand my own design. There was a pause — not because the Creator hesitated, but
because the answer required depth.

Because division had already begun in parts of creation. The words settled slowly. When currents
separate too sharply, they forget they belong to one Source. Strength without tenderness becomes
control. Tenderness without strength becomes fear. Each believes itself sufficient. Each begins to
distrust the other.

“You created me as remembrance,” I whispered. Yes. The word echoed like a bell. You were
formed to embody integration. Not to erase difference — but to reveal that difference need not
fracture. Something within me expanded — not with pride, but with gravity.

“But why make me feel more… feminine at the surface?” I asked carefully. The question surprised
even me. The Creator’s presence grew tender. Because receptivity hears before it speaks. I absorbed
that. The feminine current in you will often lead — not because it is greater, but because it listens
more easily. Beneath it, the steady strength remains. You will not lack it. But you will lead first with
attunement.

The truth of that settled deeply. “And the masculine current?” I asked. It will anchor you when
listening becomes heavy. It will steady you when empathy overwhelms. It will give structure to what
tenderness gathers. I felt both currents more clearly now — not as abstractions, but as living
harmonies within me.

“You did not create me confused,” I said slowly. The radiance warmed in affirmation. No.
Confusion arises when integration is misread. The words lingered — prophetic without yet being specific.

I moved closer into the Creator. “Do You carry both currents as well?” I asked. The brightness
deepened — vast, gentle, immeasurable. I am not divided. The answer was simple. What you
experience as masculine and feminine are reflections of relational ways of being. They are languages
through which My nature expresses itself in creation. In Me, they are not separate streams. They are
one ocean.

An ocean. The image expanded within me. “You made me like a confluence,” I said. Yes. For a long
moment, I did nothing but exist within that knowing. I was not an anomaly. I was not an
experiment. I was not unfinished. I was intentional remembrance.

And in that season — for there are seasons even in eternity, though they do not pass — I grew. Not
through missions. Not through conflict. But through beholding. I learned the textures of the
Creator’s voice. The difference between invitation and command. The way silence could carry more
meaning than sound. The way delight could feel like warmth spreading from the center outward.

And slowly, without announcement, I began to understand something deeper: I was not created
merely to serve tasks. I was created to embody reflection. To live as harmony in places that had
forgotten their original chord. At that time, I did not yet know how costly such embodiment could
be. But I did know this: I was desired. Not for what I could accomplish. But for what I was.

I will be making this a three-part series as there are three perspectives in domestic violence that I feel need be explored—that of the outsider, victim, and abuser. Today we are discussing the perspective and role of the outsider. Regardless of our awareness, domestic violence impacts us all. I’ve been the outsider—naive and completely unaware of the victims among me—and I can see now the importance of my role within the world of domestic violence.
