Lisa Kjeseth MA, LPC, ACS
Therapist/Director of Special Programs
Licensed Professional Counselor

I believe that my clients are the true experts in their lives. My role is to work collaboratively with you to unlock the keys to your success. I understand that sharing life’s difficulties can be challenging, which is why many of my clients find me easy to talk to, directive, transparent, and even fun to work with. Yes, therapy can be enjoyable! Together, we form a team to tackle any issue that arises. I am particularly passionate about working with individuals in fields that expose them to secondary trauma, such as first responders, military personnel, healthcare professionals, educators, veterans, and pastors. These roles can be incredibly demanding, and I am here to provide support and guidance through the unique challenges they face. As a strengths-based therapist, I journey alongside my clients, utilizing solution-focused and existential skills when appropriate. I recognize that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience; I tailor my approach to incorporate individual learning styles, psychoeducation, and practical skills to help you live your best life. Sometimes, therapy is simply about navigating through the next moment, and I am here to walk with you every step of the way. You don’t have to struggle alone. My goal is for you to leave each session with a deeper understanding of yourself and your relational and emotional world. Many clients prefer to focus on one issue at a time, and I create specific treatment plans to ensure our sessions are efficient and effective. However, I also welcome those who wish to engage in a longer-term therapeutic process with broader goals. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to meet you where you are and support you on your journey.
