Licensed Professional Counselor
I believe that you are the true expert in your own life. My role is to collaborate with you in unlocking the keys to your success. I understand that sharing life’s struggles can be challenging, which is why many of my clients find me approachable, warm, direct, transparent, and even enjoyable to work with. Yes, therapy can be not only productive but also fun! My areas of specialty include trauma, secondary trauma, substance use, Suicidal Ideation, self harm, anxiety, mood disorders, unique work trauma experienced by military, LEOs, healthcare workers and educators. Additionally working with primary caregivers through the newly coined term ‘Mental Load’ as they navigate daily challenges. As a strengths-based therapist, I am dedicated to walking alongside you, using a blend of solution-focused and existential approaches when appropriate. I understand that therapy is not a one-size-fits-all experience, which is why I tailor my approach to suit your unique learning style, integrating psychoeducation and practical skills to help you live your best life. I also draw upon evidence-based strategies from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to ensure our work together is both effective and supportive. You don’t have to face your challenges alone—I'm here to walk with you every step of the way. My goal is to guide you in gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and your emotional and relational world. Whether you're looking to focus on one specific issue or engage in a longer-term therapeutic process, I tailor each session to meet your unique needs. Many clients prefer to dive into one challenge at a time, and I create personalized treatment plans to ensure our work together is both efficient and effective. I’m here to support you in achieving your goals. Whatever your journey may be, I’m committed to meeting you where you are and walking alongside you as you navigate your path.
