With over 12 years of experience as a practitioner and over 5 years as a supervisor, my mission is to help both individuals and emerging professionals navigate life’s complexities with authenticity and resilience. My practice is built on a foundation of support for the LGBTQIA+ community and our allies, providing a safe, uplifting space to transform challenges, such as stress, anxiety, depression, and trauma, into opportunities for profound personal growth.
Therapy for Clients
I believe therapy should be as unique as the person sitting across from me. My clinical philosophy is deeply integrative and holistic, considering the connection between mind, body, and spirit. I primarily utilize an approach that incorporates the power of connection through Relational-Cultural Therapy (RCT), alongside structured, evidence-based tools like CBT and DBT for managing emotions and changing life-limiting patterns.
By pairing these with Motivational Interviewing, I partner with you to harness your internal drive for change. For those navigating deep-seated trauma, I integrate EMDR and Internal Family Systems (IFS) through the lens of the Adaptive Information Processing (AIP) model. My goal is to create a space where you can freely explore and embrace your true self, finding the inner peace and tranquility you deserve.
Supervision for LPC-Associates
My background in teaching and school counseling has instilled in me a lifelong passion for education and professional development. I offer LPC-Associate Supervision that is collaborative, transformative, and grounded in a holistic mindset. I view the supervisor-supervisee relationship as a partnership aimed at fostering the growth of the next generation of counselors.
Drawing from developmental and reflective models, such as the Integrated Developmental Model (IDM) and Bernard’s Discrimination Model, I tailor my supervisory approach to meet you exactly where you are in your professional journey. Whether you are just starting out or looking to refine a specific clinical niche, I am committed to helping you find your professional footing, gain confidence, and excel in the counseling field.
It’s completely normal to feel a bit overwhelmed when starting a new chapter, whether it’s your first therapy session or your first day as a clinical associate. Remember, we are in this together. I eagerly look forward to embarking on this transformative journey by your side.
